I used Macro setting for this shoot (from Nikon Camera).. Notice anything? Yup! It is chilli from mom's backyard. Also know as 'Cili Padi' in local here. It's hotter than ordinary chilli. Wanna test some anyone? Hahaha :D

To all cats lovers.. Come and visit our 'Cat's City' which is located in Borneo. It's also known as 'Kuching' located in Sarawak the 'Land of Hornbills'. In local dialect Kucing means cats. Our city called 'Cat's City' named after the cats.

Crown of Thorns

Euphorbia milii (Crown-of-thorns or Christ Plant) is a woody, succulent species of Euphorbia native to Madagascar. The species name commemorates Baron Milius, once governor of Réunion, who introduced the species to France in 1821. Well it's just a plant from my mom's pot. ^_-

LOMO Theme

Just a piece of my artwork in LOMO theme. “Lomography” is a term quite unknown to most of us, but many practice it. The name was inspired and derived from the Russian “LOMO” cameras. Lomography not only refers to photographs taken with the LOMO camera, but can also apply to casual photography taken with any ordinary camera. Just like what I did. Well, this is my first LOMO artwork taken in Borneo. Well, how is it? Share your opinion and comment here too. Peace ^_-

Namun, ianya adalah lukisan hasil kerja tangan Paul Cadden. Beliau adalah hyperrealist artis yang berusia 47 tahun. Beliau mampu mencipta foto secara terperinci menakjubkan hanya mengunakan pensil (Graphite/Pastel).

Paul Cadden bekerja pada lukisan. Artis hyperrealist mewujudkan tangan dilukis imej yang kelihatan seperti gambar hitam dan putih.

Hyperrealism menurut  Paul Cadde....

"Intensify the normal."

I think the creation of Art need not lead to alienation and can indeed be highly satisfying; one pours one's subjectivity into an object and one can even gain enjoyment from the fact that another in turn gains enjoyment from this. Although the drawings and paintings I make are based upon photographs, videos stills etc , the idea is to go beyond  the  photograph. The photo is used to create a subtler and much more complex focus on the subject depicted, The virtual image becomes the living image, an intensification of the normal. These objects and scenes in my drawings are meticulously detailed to create the illusion of a new reality not seen in in the original photo. The Hyperrealist style focuses much more on its emphasis on detail and the subjects depicted. Hyperreal paintings and sculptures are not strict interpretations of photographs, nor are they literal illustrations of a particular scene or subject. Instead, they utilise additional, often subtle, pictorial elements to create the illusion of a reality which in fact either does not exist or cannot be seen by the human eye. Furthermore, they may incorporate emotional, social, cultural and political thematic elements as an extension of the painted visual illusion; a distinct departure from the older and considerably more literal school of Photorealism.

On Halloween abroad, we usually sees people with they're scary costume, carving jack-o'-lanterns, Trick-or-treating-guising and haunted games.. I do loves the haunted games and those are fun but its rarely seen here. Because we have our very own Halloween Parties here that I might upload soon..
